Pav Bhaji :
Ingredients :
- 5 potatoes
- 1 grams peas
- 2 carrot
- 3 tbsps oil
- 1 packet ginger garlic paste
- 2 medium sized onion
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 4 tomatoes
- 1 packet pav bhaji masala
- salt to taste
- 1 packet butter
- 4 pav
Method of preparation :
1. Boil all the potatoes, peas, carrot together and drain the water.
Blend the vegetables to a puree (mash).
2. Now heat oil in a large bowl. Add onion and saute for a while. Add ginger garlic paste and saute again. Add tomatoes and cook till oil separates. Add turmeric, red chili powder, pav bhaji
masala and mix well.
3. Add vegetable puree, salt to taste and mix well. Add 1-2 cups of water and let it cook for 10-12 minutes.
4. Lastly add butter and mix well, until it cooked.
5. Now for the pav, heat generous amount of butter in a pan and dab the pavs in it.
6. Serve hot bhaji with pav along with chopped onion, coriander and
lemon.
