Chocolate Cupcake :
Chocolate cupcake is a small chocolate flavored cake. It is the easiest cake to make for a special occasion or birthday or anniversary. In general cupcakes have to be baked at the center of the oven or you can also use a cooker to bake them only if you have small cup cake holder.
Ingredients :
For chocolate cupcake batter:
- 1 cup buttermilk / chaas
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup (120 m) oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract ( optional )
- 13 cup maida / plain flour
- 4 cup (30 gm) cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 4 tsp baking soda
- 10 cupcake liners
For chocolate buttercream frosting:
- 140 gm butter
- 2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional )
- 4 cup milk
- 4 cup (30 gm) cocoa powder
Method of preparation :
1. In a large bowl take 1 cup buttermilk, 1 cup sugar, cup oil and 1 tsp vanilla extract ( optional ).
2. Mix well with the help of whisk for 5 minute.
3. Further strain14 cup maida, 1 cup cocoa powder, 1 tsp baking powder and 4 tsp baking soda.
4. Mix well using cut and fold method. ( Gently combine light and airy mixture ).
5. Scoop the cake batter and pour into cupcake liners two-third to full.
6. Preheat and bake the cake at 180 degree Celsius or 356 degree Fahrenheit for 30 minute.
7. And finally, decorate the chocolate cupcake with
chocolate frosting and serve.
Doughnuts :
Doughnuts are usually made from flours. We can use all purpose flours. It is typically in ring shape but we can make other shapes as well. Doughnuts may be glazed with icing or chocolate.
Ingredients :
- 4 cup milk warm
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp dry yeast
- 2 cups maida or plain flour
- Refined flour
- 4 tsp baking powder
- 2 tbsp butter
- Pinch of salt ( as per taste )
- Water as required
- Oil to grease & deep fry
For chocolate gaze :
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 4 cup cocoa powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract/ essence
- 3 tbsp milk
Method of Preparation :
1. Activate yeast by adding milk and sugar.
2. Now add maida, baking powder, butter and salt as per taste.
3. Combine and knead to smooth dough adding water as required to make dough.
4. Grease and cover and let it rest for 1 to 2 hours.
5. Punch the dough and roll slightly thick.
6. Now with the help of donut cutter, cut round ring shape.
7. Allow it to rest in warm place for 2 hours.
8. Deep fry in medium hot oil until golden brown.
9. Dip the doughnuts in chocolate gaze and serve chocolate donuts.
Note :
1. You can also use rolling pin to roll the dough.
2. You can also decorate your doughnuts by sprinkling sugar crystals or as you want.
Oreo chocolate cake :
Oreo chocolate cake is made up of oreo cookies flavored with melted chocolate.
Ingredients :
- 30 Oreo cookies or biscuits
- 30 grams butter
- 4 tablespoons sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Method of preparation :
1. Separate the cookies and the cream. Bash or grind the cookies into a fine powder.
2. In a pan melt 30 grams of butter and let it cool it to room temperature.
3. In a bowl add the cookie powder, the separated cream, the brown melted butter and the milk. Mix together until it becomes a loose batter.
4. In a baking dish lined with butter paper spread the batter evenly. Bake at 180°c in a preheated oven for 30 mins.
5. If you don't have a oven. Set a pan over low heat. Pour the mixture in a sauce pan and cover it with a lid. Line the base of the sauce pan with butter paper. Let it cook on low flame for 40 minutes.
For the fudge sauce
( chocolate syrup) :
1. Add 30 grams of butter to a pan on low heat. Add sugar and 2 tablespoon of milk. Cook over low flame till it gets dark caramel colour.
2. If the sauce is too runny add some corn flour mixed with little milk.
3. Add cornstarch only if you can't get the thickness naturally.
4. Spread the sauce over the cake and garnish with chocolate crunches or as you like.
5. Chill the cake with the sauce in the freezer. Serve cold.
And here your oreo chocolate cake is ready to serve and eat.
Chocolate cake with strawberry toppings
Ingredients :
- 1.5 cups maida
- 3 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 cup sugar ( powdered )
- 2 cup milk
- 2 cup oil
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1 dark chocolate slab
- 2 tsp butter
Method of preparation :
1. Take 1.5 cups maida, 3 tbsp cocoa powder, 1/2 tsp baking powder, 1/4 tsp baking soda, 1 cup powdered sugar, mix well in a bowl.
2. Add 1 cup milk and 1/4 cup oil, mix all ingredients.
3. Grease the microwave safe bowl. Pour the batter, and keep it in microwave for 6 minutes.
For chocolate ganache :
1. 1 cup chopped dark chocolate, 3 tsp milk, 2 tsp butter, mix it and keep it in microwave for 1.5 minutes.
2. Cool it and apply on cake. Garnish it with strawberry.
