Hakka noodle

Hakka Noodles :


Ingredients : 

 Noodles                                       

 400 gms

 Oil
 
6 tbsps
 
Onion

 1 medium sized

 Spring onions greens

 1

 Capsicum

1 medium sized 
 
Ajinomoto (optional)
 
1/4 tsp

 Salt
 
to taste
 
Carrot

 1 medium sized
 
White pepper powder      

1/4 tsp
 
Cabbage
 
1/4 small size
 
Bean sprouts
 
1 cup

Soy sauce
 
1 tbsp

Method of preparation :

  • Boil noodles in sufficient water. Drain, remove and cool. Peel, wash and slice onion. Wash, trim and finely chop spring onion greens.
  • Wash , deseed and cut capsicum. Wash, peel and cut carrot into pieces. Wash, trim, remove core and chop cabbage.
  • Heat oil in a wok, add sliced onions and stir fry briefly. Add carrot, capsicum, cabbage and stir fry for 2 minutes, stir continuously.
  • Add noodles, soy sauce, ajinomoto(optional), salt to taste, white pepper powder and cook on high heat for couple of minutes or until the noodles are heated through.
  • Add bean sprouts, mix well and serve hot garnished with chopped spring onion greens.
