Hakka Noodles :
Ingredients :
Noodles | 400 gms |
Oil | 6 tbsps |
Onion | 1 medium sized |
Spring onions greens | 1 |
Capsicum | 1 medium sized |
Ajinomoto (optional) | 1/4 tsp |
Salt | to taste |
Carrot | 1 medium sized |
White pepper powder | 1/4 tsp |
Cabbage | 1/4 small size |
Bean sprouts | 1 cup |
Soy sauce | 1 tbsp |
Method of preparation :
- Boil noodles in sufficient water. Drain, remove and cool. Peel, wash and slice onion. Wash, trim and finely chop spring onion greens.
- Wash , deseed and cut capsicum. Wash, peel and cut carrot into pieces. Wash, trim, remove core and chop cabbage.
- Heat oil in a wok, add sliced onions and stir fry briefly. Add carrot, capsicum, cabbage and stir fry for 2 minutes, stir continuously.
- Add noodles, soy sauce, ajinomoto(optional), salt to taste, white pepper powder and cook on high heat for couple of minutes or until the noodles are heated through.
- Add bean sprouts, mix well and serve hot garnished with chopped spring onion greens.
